Frequently Asked Questions

  • We are open all year long, by appointment only

  • You may bring as many friends/ family members as you feel comfortable with, just let us know ahead of time if the group is over 25 people

  • Only 1 person’s name needs to hold the reservation on the Vagaro app

  • There is a $7.00 per person entrance fee, this includes anyone old enough to be feeding and interacting with the animals, you may pay upon arrival

  • Tours are an hour in duration, please email megan@martysplaceforanimals.org if you wish to pay for a longer visit or book an event

  • We accept cash, debit/credit cards, and Venmo

  • Dress accordingly, this is a farm with lots of friendly animals

    • Wear boots or shoes that you do not mind getting dirty

  • The amount of food you bring determines the extent of animal interaction, there is no such thing as ‘too much’

    • Most common foods to bring:

-animal crackers, bread, whole and cut fruit: apples, pears, grapes, berries, lettuce, cabbage, celery, bananas, whole and baby carrots…

      • Do not cut all of your fruit and veggies, leave some whole for the big animals - it is easier to feed them
